Funko Names Josh Simon CEO
Pop culture and toy company Funko has named a new leader.
Josh Simon will join the company as chief executive officer starting Sept. 1, succeeding Mike Lunsford.
Simon will oversee Funko’s portfolio of brands, including Funko, Loungefly and Mondo, which manufacture products such as vinyl figures, micro-collectibles, fashion accessories, apparel, action toys, high-end art and music collectibles.

Charles Denson, chairman of the board, said in a statement that Simon was hired for his extensive experience in entertainment and consumer products.
“He brings expertise in operations, licensing and strategy, gained while serving in senior leadership roles at such esteemed companies as Netflix, Nike and The Walt Disney Company,” Denson added.
