Generac required a modernized supply chain strategy for complex, global operations that span more than 150 countries.

Generac Power Systems, a manufacturer within the energy technology sector with a focus on generators, is implementing an end-to-end supply chain planning overhaul.

To do so, the company has expanded its partnership with John Galt Solutions, now integrating AI-powered advanced planning capabilities for optimized, intelligent decision-making that supports sales, inventory, and operations processes.

The new approach is expected to better manage large volumes of data so the company can quickly and more accurately respond to demand fluctuations to keep up with inventory levels during critical events like natural disasters and power outages.

So far, there have been 1.2 billion hours of power outages in the first nine months of the year, according to Generac. Demand for generators continues to increase, with the market size valued at $23.1 billion in 2023 and expected to reach $34.5 billion in 2030, according to Markets & Markets.
